YOGA MOMENT

Movements are simple.  Time is given for skill-building.  You are encouraged to feel rather than think by paying greater attention to your breath & body.   Classes are designed to engage, inspire, & and improve your overall well-being.   Yoga Moment will help you to breathe, move & to live with greater ease.

DECEMBER WORKSHOP

Switch on to switch off.  Join me on Saturday 11th December for a two-hour workshop starting at 10 am for yoga, somatic movement & deep rest.

Starting with a yoga practice to awaken our bodies & minds, we will draw our attention to what we notice, to what we feel. From there we start the process of unwinding as we come down to the floor for a quieter somatic style practice.  Ending with a guided relaxation as we move to stillness.

Together, we will explore moving with ease, yielding to the support of the ground & letting go.  The practice will help to rebalance your energy levels. leaving you feeling less frazzled & more energised.

SCHEDULE

Yoga Moment in-person classes are held weekly in CheadleHume & Didsbury.  Please book in advance & read the Stay Safe in Class guidelines before attending a class.

Online classes are taught on Zoom.  In addition to the live stream,  a recording is included in the cost of the class.  You’ll receive a link within 24 hours of the scheduled class with unlimited access for 7 days.  If you miss the live stream, or if you attended & want to repeat it you can do so at your leisure.

What to expect

  • A warm & welcoming environment both online & in-person

Online classes

  • Online classes are brought to you by Zoom.  It is easy to navigate & compatible with Apple & Android devices.
  • Book your class via the online booking system.  Once complete you’ll receive an email with the Zoom link to your chosen class.
  • When it is time to join the class, simply click on the link.   The Zoom software will download automatically when you join your first session.  It only needs to be downloaded once.
  • Before the class, it’s a good idea to decide where you are going to do your yoga practice.   Roll out your yoga mat & see how it feels.  Do you need to move anything out the way?   Let your family or housemates know what you are doing so they know not to disturb you.  It’s worthwhile spending a few moments to prepare the space in advance.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.
  • I’ll be online 10 minutes before the scheduled class start time.   Please aim to log on to Zoom at least 5 minutes early so we can all begin the class together.

In-person classes

  • Choose & book your class via the online booking system.
  • Please remember to bring your own mat.  If you don’t have a yoga mat please contact me in advance and I’ll provide a clean one for your use or a brand new one to buy.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.
  • If you tend to feel the cold bring an extra layer to put on for relaxation at the end of the class.
  • Please aim to arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time so we can all start the class together.
